Management of the secure section of the CAUBO website

The CAUBO website is designed to allow for the posting of secured documents that would be accessible only to members. Pages and documents on the CAUBO website are categorized in the following manner:

1. General
Information that is accessible to anyone logging on (visiting) the website.

2. Membership
Information that will only be accessible to CAUBO Regular and Affiliate members. CAUBO primary representatives will be responsible to identify the individuals in each institution that will be given a username and password. Authorized members will be able to access most secured documents and pages, with the exception of those described in the following category.

3. Restricted
A limited number of documents and pages are further restricted to specific groups of members (e.g. minutes of meetings to members of specific committee, working documents to specific groups, etc.)

It is important to note that documents and pages are categorized, not members or passwords. Each authorized member is first assigned both a username and a password. The username cannot be changed. But the password can be changed by the user. Simply follow instructions on the log in page.

Since a password may not give access to all secured documents, “members only” documents and pages are marked by a small lock and “restricted” documents and pages will be marked by two locks .

If you are a member of an institution and did not receive a username and password, please contact the primary representative in your institution, normally the VP Administration and Finance, so that s/he may inform us.

If you forget your password, follow instructions on the log in page and you can have your password e-mailed to you.  CAUBO as no way of knowing your password.
