Start your conference experience off with an introduction to the rich history of Quebec at the Musée de la civilisation. The museum explores the different aspects of human reality with a unique approach combining enchantment, knowledge and reflection, transporting visitors to the great cities of the world and fascinating ancient civilisations, into significant sociocultural movements, and the heart of Québec society. Wander through three of the exhibits, enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres inspired by Quebec’s French-accented cuisine, and catch up with colleagues and friends from across the country. 

After the reception, delegates are encouraged to go out to dinner at one of Québec’s many renowned restaurants. A list of suggestions will be included in your delegate bag.

President's Dinner

Begin the night at cocktail hour with friends and colleagues. Then, sit down to an elegant three-course meal, and wrap up the evening on the dance floor! Current CAUBO President Gitta Kulczycki will offer her reflections on the past year and welcome incoming President Gayle Gorrill. After dinner, Méga Fun Animation will provide great music for you to work out the kinks from sitting all day by getting out on the dance floor with friends new and old!

AML Louis Jolliet, departing from Chouinard Pier

On the last evening of the conference, see Quebec City in a completely different light: reflected from the water. Enjoy a delicious 3-course meal (prepared fresh for you aboard the boat) while enjoying the magnificent panoramas as we cruise down the mighty Saint Lawrence river on the AML Louis-Jolliet. You’ll be treated to spectacular views of the river, the walled city and surrounding attractions while you eat, drink, and make merry. The evening will conclude with a live DJ and dancing on the largest floating terrace in Quebec, so be prepared to party!
